EXPERIENCE
Michelle has practiced law for the past 25 years since graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994. Michelle is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
Michelle is passionate about providing old fashioned service to clients and has a community conscience. Michelle volunteers for Cancer Council, is a Magic United Football Club Sponsor and also does pro bono work for Women in Refuge Crisis. Michelle also volunteers for Women’s Legal Service Queensland and at Robina Community Legal Centre.
Michelle’s wealth of knowledge of law expands over Family and De facto Law – including property settlements, children’s issues, financial agreements, divorce and domestic violence – Child Protection matters, Conveyancing, Wills and Estates and Criminal Law.
Michelle herself is a mother of three and understands the complexities of families. Michelle and her associate’s diverse knowledge, of not only law but business, is indispensable in today’s complex world where many people’s issues are not resolved by focusing on one area of law, requiring instead the migration of various areas of law and business knowledge.
Michelle Porcheron has obtained Accreditation from the Queensland Law Society in Family Law. This is a National standard of specialisation allocated through an advanced peer review program of study in the area of Family Law. As an Accredited Specialist, Michelle is highly skilled in Family Law and committed to undertaking continued legal education to maintain her specialty in Family Law.

With over 15 years’ experience in the legal industry, Levi has a wealth of knowledge for both purchasing and selling properties.
Levi understands that clients purchasing or selling properties seek a hassle-free settlement and attends to same with diligence and an eye for detail.
EXPERIENCE
Charlotte is an Associate Family Lawyer and has worked at Michelle Porcheron Lawyers since 2017.
Complex parenting and property matters are Charlotte’s area of expertise. Charlotte knows it is a privilege to be trusted with clients’ most personal matters, being their family relationships post-separation, reaching the best outcome for the care and welfare of their children, and ensuring that just outcomes are reached for property settlements for her clients.
Charlotte joined Michelle Porcheron Lawyers in April 2017 as a Paralegal, who progressed to Graduate Lawyer, and is now an Associate Family Lawyer within the firm.
In November 2017, Charlotte graduated from Griffith University with a dual degree in “Law” and “Government & International Relations”. She has an understanding of not only how to apply the law, but also the mechanisms surrounding the drafting of laws through her politics degree as well.
Charlotte undertook specific advanced classes at University for Domestic and Family Violence, as well as working at the Caxton Legal Centre, Brisbane for the Family Law section with the positions only being offered to six students. It is here that Charlotte found her passion for assisting separating families, and specifically the vulnerable suffering through domestic and family violence whilst having to amicably co-parent with their abuser, and/or attempt to settle their property dispute.
Shortly after in 2018, Charlotte completed her Post-Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law in Brisbane, then was admitted in the Supreme Court of Queensland in mid-2018. Charlotte is a member of the Queensland Law Society as well as the Family Law Practitioner’s Association.
The areas of speciality that Charlotte practices in include parenting matters, property settlement, contested complex property disputes, domestic and family violence, divorce proceedings, child support proceedings, relocation orders for parenting, and urgent recovery orders.
Charlotte has represented clients for Mediations, Mentions, Interim Hearings, Compliance Hearings, Trials and Appeals. Whilst it is common for Charlotte to practice in Court, our ethos is to provide the tools and advice necessary to clients to assist resolve their dispute in a time and cost effective manner. Charlotte aims to resolve Family Law matters through mediation where clients have more opportunity to voice their concerns, however, does not shy away from the use of the Court system when needed.
In her spare time, Charlotte volunteers with the Robina Community Legal Centre for both Family Law matters and Domestic Violence matters. She enjoys running for any new challenge (i.e. fun runs, half marathons or full marathons), with her favourite football team being the AFL Lions..

Jayde joined our team in January 2022, moving from Regional Victoria to the Gold Coast.
Jayde has 4 years of experience working in the legal field, working as a Paralegal at a law firm in Victoria before moving to Queensland. Jayde is currently studying Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith University.
Jayde is a dedicated paralegal with a strong foundation in law, she mainly assists in the wills and estates department, providing essential support during complex legal processes.
Jayde has experience in family law matters, including Legal Aid cases, and is particularly passionate about advocating for families and children in these sensitive areas. In addition, Jayde assists with commercial sales and leases, ensuring smooth transactions for businesses.
Jayde is committed to continuous professional development and delivering high-quality legal assistance with a bubbly and approachable attitude. When you visit the office, you’re likely to meet her two loyal companions, her French Bulldogs Bentley and Winston, who keep the atmosphere light and welcoming.
